## What I work on

- Production GenAI and agentic workflows: orchestration, tool use, evaluation, and human review.
- Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG): document processing, hybrid retrieval, grounding, and clinical data access.
- Model Context Protocol (MCP): authenticated tools, structured interfaces, streaming, and text-to-SQL workflows.
- AI reliability: evaluation datasets, regression checks, observability, model costs, and failure handling.
- Data engineering: Python, Airflow, AWS, batch and streaming pipelines, analytics, and genomics workflows.
- Local AI and desktop products: local inference, encrypted workspaces, and workflows that keep the user's records in context.

## Background

My background combines physics, machine learning, and data engineering. My University at Albany, SUNY physics PhD work reached All But Defence status; it combined stochastic Liouville equation modeling for NMR with supervised machine learning on Raman spectroscopy data. I also taught a Big Data course at Concordia University.

## Personal projects

### Relai

A macOS workspace for AI coding sessions from Claude Code, Codex, opencode, Gemini, Cursor, Kiro, Cline, Pi, Aider, and Qwen. Find conversations by project or tool, resume supported sessions in a built-in or external terminal, and carry context between assistants. It also includes estimated cost tracking, agent monitoring, and reports.

### Gramp

An encrypted desktop workspace for genome data, medical records, Apple Health data, and research summaries. Current development includes anatomy navigation, retained encrypted source uploads, and plain-language summaries grounded in available research. Missing health data is kept distinct from a healthy status.

Gramp is in active development. Its [project page](https://oleks.tech/gramp.html) explains which features are newer than public builds and the remaining work on an iPhone companion. It is a personal information and research tool, not a medical device or a source of diagnoses.

### Brosophagus

### CôtéRue
